Montevideo Skyline

Montevideo is wonderfully situated right on the Oceano Atlantico.  The beaches that surround the city and various neighbourhoods are 13 miles long, and in fact continue right up the coast.  There are hundreds of condominiums along the beach and an excellent rambla where people stroll, exercise, socialize and enjoy life.  One downside - the coast is open directly to the ocean and the land is relatively flat, so winds are almost constant.  It seems that people becomed used to them. 

This gives an idea of the MVD, or Montevideo skyline.  This is just a portion of the apartment blocks - they go on for miles.
